To be 23 is a harsh coming of age Concept EP constructed from a diary kept by the then 23 year old Regan Thompson.
In chronological order each track is based on “The 5 Stages of Grief” from Elisabeth Kubler-Ross’s book titled “On Death and Dying” released in 1969.
Each track was written in 2015 and laid dormant until being recorded in December 2018 with no revisions - These are the blatant and emotionally raw memoirs of a 23 year old struggling with addiction and mental illness set on changing his ways, regaining control of his life and truly following his dreams.

Formerly known as Ciderphex or Recollect the Australian based Brisbane MC Regan. originally made one half of teenage duo Shire Folk known for the albums “Vanishing Point” and “28 Bars Later”.
